Regional Reporting Specialist - DRC/COM/010/11/16
Develop, provide and track different reports and analysis for all business KPIs and performance ; revenue, offers, channel of distribution, sales and subscribers, in daily, weekly and Monthly basis and provide had hoc analysis as well.
Uses various enterprise BI and reporting tools including Cognos, SQL Server Reporting Services, Excel and others to support mainly the Marketing strategy, Consumers unit and/or others teams
Be responsible for extracting, manipulating, and synthesizing information from multiple data sources to provide insights, analysis and reporting to stakeholders across the Marketing Strategy and consumers’ unit group.
Ensure reconciliation of extracted information with others sources (Finance, billing, ….) before sharing them
Be a thought leader in analysis, reporting and fostering innovation with the objective of proactively driving and creating critical insights that clearly identify performance highlights, opportunities and trends across the product set and within the channels the product is being sold.
Partner with Consumer Insights, Strategic Guidance, National Retail and other cross functional teams to gather key data needed to synthesize and formulate clear perspective on product and operational performance and opportunities not yet identified to drive incremental growth, increase margin and revenues in the product set.
Collaborate with technical and business leads to develop, automate and maintain on-going and ad-hoc reports to track key performance metrics related to product and operations performance support and process improvement.
Build and maintain a profitability model by product/service
Analyze Prepaid Promotion offerings to ensure programs are driving the anticipated business results and return on investments
Proactively correlate, synthesize and interpret operational, qualitative and quantitative data to identify key insights, trends, opportunities and/or threats
Develop requirements for solutions and reporting to meet the needs of the business and stakeholders for new prepaid products and services.
Partner with product and operations managers to drive business results
Bridge between Marketing and IT – Ability to work with business intelligence unit and IT to scope system and reporting requirements.
Minimum graduate in any Statistic or Computer or Economic or Mathematic
3 years’ experience is key
Vodacom Congo processes knowledge would be an advantage
Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining tools
Familiarity in business intelligence software (IBM Cognos, -, etc) and reporting setup
Advanced knowledge of database extraction and data manipulation using SQL (Knowledge of PL SQL will be an advantage)
Strong quantitative skills and the ability to correlate both qualitative and quantitative data to produce actionable insights
Experience with marketing, sales, customer demographic analytics
Able to proactively work independently while managing/prioritizing multiple tasks
Strong interpersonal skills in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to handle high pressure deadlines
Must speak French and English
Very good knowledge in Excel and Power point
